PowerObjects, an HCL Technologies Company is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Technical Architect to join our award-winning, global team. The D365 Technical Solution Architect role provides leadership and technical expertise to clients and internal teams on overall system implementation and integration, maintainability and stability, and security. This may come in the form of leading discussions with client stakeholders, providing training, and/or formal and informal meetings with team members. This position is expected to be able to perform and lead development efforts, document specifications, and ensure quality standards are being maintained throughout the lifecycle of a project. The candidate must be able to provide innovative and effective solutions that meet our clients' business needs, always be striving for improvement, and most importantly be a lover of technology and all things Dynamics 365.

Essential Functions

  • Leading design and architecture sessions with clients and fellow consultants to gather and document project requirements
  • Architecting the D365 CRM system, integrations, security, and any related customizations
  • Advising customers on best practices for D365 CRM development and integration processes
  • Writing technical specifications for planned work and estimating effort required
  • Mocking up specifications for our overseas development team, facilitating the completion, testing, and deployment of development projects
  • Leading development efforts that may involve multiple internal, client, and third-party resources
  • Providing technical oversight across multiple projects
  • Assisting with technical pre-sales efforts
  • Creating proofs of concept to establish feasibility of designs
  • Mentoring other developers and participating company initiatives
  • Maintaining knowledge of current Dynamics 365 CRM capabilities and related technologies
  • Participating in informal and formal design and architecting sessions with fellow consultants

  • 5+ years of consulting experience
  • Participation in multiple large or enterprise-scale projects
  • Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Experience with add-on products (Portals, Field Service, USD, etc.) a plus
  • Visual Studio & Azure DevOps
  • Microsoft C# & ASP.NET
  • JavaScript & web development
  • Ability to write maintainable & testable code
  • Creating & consuming web services
  • Experience with SQL Server / SSIS / SSRS
  • Solid understanding of the Dynamics 365 CRM SDK and development of plug-ins, custom workflows, and web resources
  • Experience using Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud computing platforms
  • Experience integrating Dynamics 365 CRM with other systems
  • Strong understanding of the Dynamics 365 CRM solution deployment model
  • Knowledge of software testing and QA practices
