HCL Technologies' Microsoft Business Applications Practice ("MBAP" formerly, PowerObjects) is seeking an Internal Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their award winning and growing team. This individual will work closely with leadership and hiring managers on diverse hiring and staffing needs globally. Meticulous organization, communication skills, and relationship building are key components of the role, as well as the ability to develop and leverage a strong local and international network.

Essential Functions

  • Full-cycle recruiting skills: research, sourcing, and interviewing (with the goal of placement)
  • Engage hiring managers to gather staffing needs and necessary position requirements
  • Continually improve techniques, strategies, and approaches to candidate outreach
  • Schedule candidates with hiring managers and other miscellaneous administrative duties as needed
  • Leverage both push and pull activities in sourcing, including applicant databases, employee referrals, social media, user groups, channel contacts, and more
  • Anticipate staffing needs and work to build a strong pipeline
  • Interview sourced candidates, measuring them against both professional skill sets and PowerObjects’ Guiding Principles
  • Work collaboratively with Director of Talent Acquisition and other Talent Acquisition team members on strategy and status of the overall recruiting plan, Event planning, as needed, and creative recruiting
  • Employ Microsoft Dynamics 365, or alternative program, as an applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Track and report key metrics to determine effectiveness and production
  • Assist with employee onboarding after hire, as needed
  • Work with Director of Talent Acquisition on recruiting best practices and policy adherence
  • General process improvement and procedural analysis

Key Measurements of Performance

  • Exhibit PowerObjects’ Guiding Principles
  • Proven experience as an agency or corporate recruiter, with technical recruiting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Firm grasp on IT trends and general knowledge of various technology stacks, Microsoft Dynamics (365/AX/CRM) highly preferred
  • Strong Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively across all organizational levels and across geos
