About the Position

PowerObjects, an HCL Technologies Company is seeking a PowerSuccess Dynamics 365 Marketing Consultant to join our award-winning and growing team. The primary role of the PowerSuccess Dynamics 365 Marketing Consultant is to be an outsourced “D365 Marketing Champion” to companies implementing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing. The PowerSuccess D365 Marketing Consultant manages approximately 15-20 clients at once, getting into each client’s business and understanding their goals and how to make them successful using Dynamics 365 Marketing. 

Essential Functions

  • Consulting, training, and supporting the Dynamics 365 Marketing Solution
  • Leading and facilitating the Envision sessions with the clients 
  • Documenting and prioritizing the list of initiatives in the Rank session 
  • Advising customers on best practices for Dynamics 365 Marketing processes, 
  • Configuring Dynamics 365 Marketing to model the client’s processes using the out-of-the-box configuration toolset including: 
  • Customizing entities, fields, forms, and views 
  • Creating customer journey’s
  • Creating customer segments
  • Creating email templates
  • Event creation and tracking
  • Web Forms
  • Basic Portal setup
  • Dashboards 
  • Report Wizard Reports 
  • Workflows and Dialogs 
  • Writing specifications for customizations that would be completed via fixed fee by other members of the team 
  • Reviewing work that is completed as part of the Render deliverable 
  • Having regular meetings and communications with each client to ensure you are proactively seeking opportunities to improve their business processes 
  • Conducting system administrator and end-user training 
  • Answering ad-hoc questions 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Exhibit PowerObjects Guiding Principles
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 CE and/or a similar CRM technology for Marketing
  • Maintaining up-to-date understanding of business processes, issues, and technology especially related to the operation of a sales, marketing, or customer service department within an organization 
  • Experience with conducting business analysis sessions to gather requirements from clients 
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of relational databases, including hands-on experience with database design and UI design 
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 CE and/or a similar CRM technology 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Excellent time management skills required 
  • An additional area of responsibility will be to contribute to the team and transfer knowledge: 
  • Participating in weekly team meetings by actively listening to issues and contributing ideas 
  • Distributing information on the latest D365-related and technology news to the team members 
  • Writing blogs on the latest features and discoveries
