In the sales process, we are sometimes asked why Microsoft? It’s a question we’ve answered a thousand times in hundreds of different ways because there are just so many reasons.

We’ve distilled our why Microsoft? answer to nine key reasons. In this first post in a two-part series, we’ll explore the first four of those nine reasons we and our clients choose Microsoft…

• Cloud First was Microsoft’s mantra before the business world even started warming to the idea of running operations in the cloud. And their commitment remains as strong as any in the industry, as they are currently building out three separate clouds with myriad hybrid options. Their 3-cloud investment includes Azure, Dynamics 365, and Office 365. And their pace of innovation is astounding, releasing new capabilities to users multiple times throughout the year. Businesses already using Office and Dynamics are able to compliment what they have and maximize their investment by using Microsoft Cloud. Interesting tidbit: Dynamics 365’s primary competitor is Salesforce, an organization that now uses the Microsoft Azure Cloud.

That sentiment drives their deep commitment to delivering world-class data security, privacy, and compliance. They protect customers from cyberthreats, for example, using built-in automation and machine learning. Simply put, HCL-PowerObjects can and does rely on Microsoft to safeguard our data and the data of our customers.

As we’ve already seen, the global pandemic has and will permanently impact how technology is used by individuals and businesses alike, but Microsoft has been a steady force and a thread of consistency through all of it. They were here before COVID-19, they’ll be here after, and they’ve kept us all afloat during the pandemic.
