With the evolution of the Dynamics 365 product, this course will focus on the core out-of-the-box Marketing business application capabilities while driving understanding surrounding the competencies needed for attendees to have big impacts on their organization’s marketing efforts. This fast-paced course covers the latest and greatest in the Marketing app’s features to ensure that attendees are empowered to leverage the full capabilities of their organization’s Dynamics 365 for Marketing environment. This course is designed to support individuals who will be administrating or heavily using Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Marketing for their job roles. This course provides attendees who have limited or no exposure to Dynamics 365 Marketing a breadth of understanding of the application. Attendees who are migrating from another Marketing solution will find value in learning the new features and functionality of the most recent release.


This course is designed to support Dynamics 365 System Administrators who may be configuring and maintaining a Dynamics 365 Marketing environment, but also Dynamics 365 and Power Automate Power Users, Marketing Professionals, Marketing Stakeholders, or any end users whose main job role will be to work within the application for an organizations Marketing efforts.

  • Digital Marketing Content Management and Creation of Marketing Forms, Marketing Pages, Marketing Emails, file and keyword management, content blocks, and form fields
  • Subscription Center definitions and uses and creation of Subscription Lists
  • Using the Segment tool to create audience lists for marketing efforts
  • Lead Lifecycle definitions and the marketing to sales pipeline as well as exploring the Lead Scoring functionality

Recommended Prerequisites

Prerequisites are recommendations, and while not required, they are highly advised to ensure a successful learning experience:

  • Understanding of data or relational databases is helpful, but not required
  • Understanding of Dynamics 365 basic navigation and record types from other Business Application will be helpful, but not required as some basic navigation is covered at a high level
  • Data entry and working with modern digital design tools is also recommended
