JoeCRM: Hey, Bob. Can you tell me the difference in the screenshots shown below?
Bob: What has happened to you today, Joe? Why are you showing the same screens again and again? Is this a copy – paste error? What are you trying to prove?
JoeCRM: Bob, I am doing perfectly fine. Look carefully at the screenshots again. You will observe that CRM is being shown in multiple browsers:
Bob: Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Joe!!! Smashing news!!!! When did this magic happen?
JoeCRM: Well, Microsoft has come up with their R8 which opens the door to multiple browsers thus enabling the flexibility to consume Microsoft Dynamics CRM through the most popular web browsers running on both PC and Apple Macintosh computers. This also showcases the interoperability with non-Microsoft platforms and alignment with industry standards to promote choice.
Bob: That's great. Is there any important constraint or limitation of browsers?
JoeCRM: It is important to know that most administrative functionalities like customizations, form design, solution import, creating new workflows etc. will only be available through IE. The multiple browser function is designed more to enrich end user experience and enable to them to access the right information at the right time in the right platform.
Bob: Thanks Joe. Bye now.
JoeCRM: Where are you rushing away?
Bob: I want to play around with my MAC.
JoeCRM: Ha ha…just wait for the Windows 8 Tablets 🙂!!!
