Why open one office when you can open two?!?
Once Jim Sheehan, COO, got to Texas he realized another office was needed to divide and conquer. So we opened an office in San Antonio and hired Michael Blake to help it grow. We hired Michael because he's an amazingly awesome sales person. Michael is such a likeable guy that we're sure he could sell sand in the desert... if he tried hard enough. Michael is up to date on all the geeky technology stuff we thrive on and we're sure he can help grow PowerObjects' business in Texas.

What's with all the xRM speak?
When we talk about xRM, we're talking about an important new concept in the technology world. xRM stands for anything relationship management where X = anything. So instead of using CRM to manage customer relationships, why not use xRM to manage any relationship. When we talk to people about xRM we ask them to identify the most important aspect in their business to manage. Maybe it's test results, surveys, devices, electric poles, truck drivers, studies, grants, animals, any type of noun — think about it. What's your X?

Update 7 for CRM 4.0: King of all updates
Update 7 for Dynamics CRM 4.0 is important. It's literally the king of all updates going forward. If update 7 is not installed, update 8 can't be installed and so on. Besides being a mandatory update, update 7 has improved functionality that we think you'll benefit from. PowerObjects hosted customers will have the update automatically starting Monday November 9. PowerObjects on-premise customers will have to download the update. Know your username and password for the CRM system before you download. On-premise customers will need to log back into the CRM after installing the update.

PowerLunch with PowerObjects
We hope you'll be hungry because we're buying lunch. You heard that right. Free lunch from PowerObjects. What's the occasion? We're having a webinar November 3 and November 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for non-PowerObjects customers. The PowerLunch webinar will focus on common sales dilemmas that Microsoft CRM can help with. Since we're so busy CRMing the only time we had to do the webinar was during our lunch break. We thought, well, we have to order one pizza, lets order 50 pizzas and let our CRM tool do all the work. It could be a lot of fun.
